Earlier this month, the couple cemented their status as boy parents after announcing thatthey are expecting another son.
In a video posted to their Instagrams, Shai sat behind a white cake covered in question marks, with a fondant sign that read “We’re here for the sex!” leaning against it. As the video continued, the family could be seen taking photos at a maternity shoot, posing with each other and swapping in Chmerkovskiy’s parents and Murgatroyd’s mom.
The proud parents then headed outside, where they released confetti poppers in front of the rest of their family. Bits of blue confetti floated in the sky, revealing that they are expecting another a boy.
“I CANNOT BELIEVE WE WILL HAVE 3 BOYS!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Maks and I are beyond happy to have another buddy for Shai and Rio…we want them to be the best of friends and thinking about family dinners already makes us laugh! Not to mention when Rio turns 1 , I will give birth to this bundle of joy a couple of weeks later 💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼.”

Although it was a bit of a shock, Chmerkovskiy has shared thathe’s excited to become a family of five.
“It’s definitely a dream come true, all those beat-up phrases,” Chmerkovskiy told PEOPLE after sharing the couple’s news. “I’m extremely excited to be in this position, in this place in my life. I am also very aware of the perspective, of where I come from, of where I am now.”
“I dreamt about this before. The family with somebody that I really want to have a family with. This unconditional love and house and it’s all of that. I’m also very much aware that it’s not that for everybody.”
