Mama June Shannonis giving an update on her family following the death ofAnna “Chickadee” Cardwell.
In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, theMama June: Family Crisisstar, 44, shared where her granddaughters Kaitlyn Elizabeth, 8, and Kylee Madison, 11, have been living since their mom Anna died in December due to stage 4 cancer.
“Kaitlyn currently lives with me andJustin [Stroud]. Then, Kylee, she lives with her biological father, but we all knew that,” Shannon explains. “People will see that also probably they’re talking about the situation as the season goes along.”

Anna shares Kylee with ex-husband Michael Cardwell. The father of her older daughter has not yet been revealed.

TheHere Comes Honey Boo Booalumdied at age 29on Dec. 9, less than a year after astage 4 adrenal carcinoma diagnosis. As she shared her daughter’s death onInstagram, Shannon included a photograph of her entire family and wrote, “With the breaking heart, we are announcing that @annamarie35 is no longer with us. She passed away in my home last night peacefully at 11:12 PM.”
“She gave one hell of a fight for 10 months she passed away with her family around her like she won’t and we will be updating y’all with more information as we get it today,” added Shannon.
