Kevin BaconandKyra Sedgwickare still loved-up after 35 years of marriage.
“This is a blurry Polaroid of where it all started, (on set shootingLemon Skyin 1987). And it’s been clear ever since… Love you forever. #MyValentineEveryDay,” the actress captioned the photo, which showed the pair lying on sun chairs in front of a classic car.

“My forever Valentine ❤️,” he captionedthe post.
Decades after meeting on the movie, the couple are still working together. They teamed up in 2022 for the movieSpace Oddity, which Sedgwick directed and Bacon starred in.
Last month, PEOPLE confirmed Bacon and Sedgwick are also set to costar in the upcoming movieConnescence, which will be their first film role together since they appeared inCavedwellerandThe Woodsman in2004.

While speaking toPEOPLE in March 2023, Bacon spoke about it being love at first sight when he spotted Sedgwick on the set ofLemon Skyall those years ago.
“I was knocked out,” he said. “I thought she was amazing.”

Sedgwick, however, wasn’t so sure about Bacon — who had already had a taste of fame thanks to his role as Ren McCormack in 1984’sFootloose.“I remember thinking, ‘Oh, he thinks he’s really cool,’ " she told PEOPLE.
Despite this, the pair went on a date anyway, and the rest is history.
“I remember waking up and going, ‘I feel like home,'” she recalled. “I realized, ‘Oh, that was him.’ "
The couple — who share son Travis, 34, and daughter Sosie, 31, together — added to PEOPLE that being able to make each other laugh has been a key ingredient in their marriage.
“A sense of humor is crucial,” said Sedgwick. “He is very freaking funny.”
