Kat Denningstried out her DIY skills ahead of her wedding day.
TheTwo Broke Girlsstar, 37, revealed on Instagram that she handmade her floral wedding arch for her nuptials to singer Andrew W.K., and she shared the progression of her work while hinting at the difficulty of putting it all together in time.
Dennings opened herInstagram postwith a selfie featuring her holding up a peace sign while wearing blue latex gloves as she posed next to the base of what would become her flower arch. She followed it up with a secondary photo of her progress which featured various green leaves interwoven with the base. Additional branches could be seen in a white bucket near the arch.
In a third photo, she once again threw up the peace sign next to her work in progress, but this time, the actress was much closer to creating the finished product. The arch looked fuller with green leaves and some white roses, and various vines could be seen in a bucket next to her.
Dennings devoted the final photo to showing off the completed arch overflowing with vines, leaves and white roses. It was placed at the end of the aisle in front of two white doors with a long faded carpet leading up to it.

“My building of the floral arch!" she captioned the photos. “Three days of literal blood, sweat and tears. There was also some broken glass.”
“Shout out to @barbrastreisand and her audiobook for getting me through several breakdowns on the way to the final magical moment 🌿💕,” she added.

Dennings and her beau, 44, tied the knot in an intimate, 15-person wedding at their residence in tribute totheir sentimental engagement— in which they both “proposed to each other in the kitchen at the exact same moment” after he visited her for the first time.
“But in the end, the kitchen engagement moment kept calling back to us,” she shared withVogue. “We realized that a small home wedding was too cozy to resist. Plus, all our stuff was there so we wouldn’t have to pack anything.”

On herInstagramaccount, the actress shared several photos from the Nov. 27 nuptials, including one of her and Andrew W.K. posing together in the grass while in their wedding attire. She captioned the upload, “🔔 just married 🔔.”
She also shared severalfollow-up postsof black-and-white photos featuring various moments from their wedding day, including shots of them dancing together through a window of their home and posing as they walked down a stone pathway in the yard.

The newlyweds had a whirlwind romantic relationship. Dennings and W.K. revealed their engagement on Instagram in May 2021, just one week afterannouncing they were dating.
