How did this giant animal skeleton get into a nice suburban home?

lensman Marc da Cuhna Lopes imagine a barren future in which people are gone , and somehow elephantine fauna skeletons have taken over our world . But do n’t panic — that ’s not really a person - sized animal that somehow died while light on a bed . It ’s an illusion of scurf .

Da Cuhna Lopes takes photographs of deserted , vacate habitations all over the world , and then pastes in the animal skeletal frame from a local university ’s previous animal material body school . Each image takes about a week to get it right , and the end result of his Vertebrata series is one of wistful revulsion .
