Cave shared several photos taken from the hospital, including a shot of herself holding the 11-week-old.
She also posted a picture of the infant’s hand, as well as a snap of what appears to be her child’s feeding and sleep schedule while in the hospital.
“Thank you for all the well wishes and messages of support,” Cave wrote in the caption, before thanking the workers at London’s Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. “Be safe everybody ❤️ amazing care from everybody at Chelsea & Westminster 🏥 #nhsheroes 💛.”
Cave first opened up about her son’sCOVID-19 diagnosisearlier this week while sharing a photo of her point of view “from an isolated room in hospital” on her Instagram.
“Really didn’t want this to be the start of my families new year. Really didn’t want to be back in a hospital so soon after his traumatic birth,” Cave continued, adding that she was “in awe of nurses and doctors.”
Cave — who is also mother to daughterMargot, 4, and sonDonnie, 6 —welcomed her third childwith comedianAlfie Brownin October.
According to the mother of three, the little one’s arrival was “very different experience to my first two births… much more humbling, terrifying and out of my control.”
“We are currently in the neo natal unit but he’s a strong boy and it’s the safest place for him right now,” sheexplained in an Instagram postat the time.

“Thank you for all the cosmic well wishes,” shecaptioned a photoof herself cradling the newborn. “Thank you to @alfiebrowncomedian for being so wonderful (again) and taking this picture in the seconds after he was born and just moments before he was wheeled away out of our arms…”
“honestly one of the hardest moments of my life…. hopefully he will be with us soon and it will be even more perfect,” Cave added. “And BIG LOVE AND RESPECT for all the mothers who’ve experienced the neonatal unit before us, along with us.”
