Taking inspiration as well as construction cues from themassive NES controllertable built in May , SCAD Inc. , which I will charitably call a service department - base novelty enlargement collective , set out to build a gargantuan - sized SNES controller , complete with functioning buttons . A few month later the build is complete , and it looks , well , immense . The angulate , simply - form NES control lent itself well to humongonization , but the rounded side of meat and shoulder buttons made the SNES a formidable challenge to accurately ramp up at such a turgid scale . The SCAD guys indisputable as hell draw it off though , getting everything from the curvature of the L and R button to the fonts used on the control labels almost perfectly good . The consistency of the comptroller is cut from wood , and the buttons are connected right away to the gumption of a received SNES accountant , preserving the now hilariously small - looking cable and connector . Matt LaBoone , the primary constructor of the undertaking , say that videos ( hopefully include some gameplay action ) are approaching .
