Here ’s an unexpected patent from Apple : a system for projecting 3D images . Sure , we ’ve seen3D panels from Sharpand3D projector that ask glasses , but this is a projector setup that requires no glass . And this makes sense for Apple why ?

Really , it makes zero sensory faculty for any consumer products . Apple does n’t sell projectors , allow alone projectors like this that require three target placed precisely around a room . If they ’re really planning on some big screwball 3D computing machine show , they ’re looking very far ahead with this one . You are n’t getting a Mac Pro 3D anytime soon . no-good .
Perhaps it could be for some really fancy 3D presentation in stores ? You know , permit you shirk around with some crazy three-D interface ? That would for certain help bring people in ( like they want help anyhow ) .
Or , as I like to guess , it ’s for the next generation of Stevenotes . finally , Jobs will kick the bucketful like all other simple mortals . Rather than hire a successor before his death , instead keynote will be performed by a holographic interpretation of Jobs . Every Apple intersection for the next 50 years can be introduced on stage by a sprightly , turtlenecked image of Steve , expertly controlled backstage by his minion .
