The 6 inch figures are the first Firefly activity build ( well , aside from thebest - left - undiscussed‘retro ’ toy Funko have also released ) to be made for the show since the toyline released to tie in with Serenity . It ’s kind of awful that it ’s taken this long , study Firefly has handle to creep its way into all sorts of unearthly merchandise latterly , from plush toys to board game . But it ’s gracious to eventually be able-bodied to have , well at least part , of the cast in toy strain . Some of them await much good than they did at Toy Fair — Kaylee and Wash especially — but poor Zoe looks a lot spoiled here than she did in hand . Hopefully that ’s something that persist the case for the real figure . It ’s nice to see that Mal is middling much the sole invariable for depend so good it ’s basically like looking at a teeny tiny plastic Nathan Fillion . As great as some of the accessories are ( Wash has dinosaur ! Vera ! Mal ’s pistol ! Zoe ’s Shotgun ! ) , I kinda wish Kaylee total with her umbrella as well as just a wrench . Poor girl misses out on all the fervidness arms , she deserves a bit more than a bare wrench !
The first series of the Firefly Legacy Collection will be out in May , for around $ 20 each . And do n’t worry , if you prefer your Jaynes hatted , there’ll be one of those too .
